Rye (Secale Cereale), has been a staple for bread making throughout the centuries and continues to be popular with Artisan Bakers in the modern era.

This 100% Rye Flour is wonderful for making flavoursome, dense breads such as Pumpernickel or mixing with our Spelt Flour to add a little extra something to your everyday bakes. Rye, although related to common Wheat, has more soluble fibre, has a vast array of healthy micronutrients and is much lower in Gluten which may be more suitable to individuals with a sensitivity to Wheat.
